Piercing questions
How many piercings can I get in one sitting?
We have a limit of three per person; any more can extend your healing time and make it harder on your body to properly heal.
What should I do after my piercing?
Clean it once daily with a sterile saline solution; other than that, we leave it alone! No touching, twisting, or turning! They heal from the outside in and may feel fine even when they’re not fully healed!
What documents do I need for my underage child for piercings?
We accept birth certificates with the parents’ or legal guardians’ IDs or both the child’s and legal guardians’ IDs (NO pictures) with the addresses and last names matching.
What is your jewelry made out of?
All our jewelry is implant-grade titanium and gold. All our body jewelry that we pierce with comes from APP (Association of Professional Piercers) verified vendors. Our tops are of high quality and will be from strictly APP certified vendors soon! Currently our vendors are: NeoMetal, Industrial Strength, Anatometal, and People’s Jewelry.
General Questions
Do I need to be sober to get a tattoo or piercing?
Yes, absolutely! A service will not be provided if under the influence.
Are your needles single-use?
Yes, for tattoos and piercings, all of our needles are single-use.
What sanitizer do you use?
We use Cavicide, which has a one-minute kill time for bacteria helping us keep our stations clean.
What forms of payment do you take?
We accept Card, Cash, Apple pay and tap to pay. We do not accept checks.
Do consults cost anything, and how long are they?
No! They don’t cost anything; it is a FREE 30-minute sit-down with an artist to get an estimate and design your piece!
Tattoo questions
How long should I keep the second skin on my tattoo?
For around 3- 5 days after your tattoo! Contact your artist if you have sensitive skin and start noticing any irritation.
What documentation do I need for my underage child getting a tattoo?
How young will you tattoo?
We tattoo individuals 16+ with proper documentation and parental permission, although there can still be placement limitations.
Can I get a quote for a tattoo online or over the phone?
No, please come in person! There are too many variables to price over the phone or online, with us being a custom shop.
What kind of soap should I use to clean my new tattoo?
Always use liquid antibacterial, unscented hand soap, NOT bar soap.
How long until I can swim? And can I swim with second skin on?
We would suggest 2-4 weeks after, although ultimately, it is whenever the tattoo is fully healed. Swimming with second skin is not advised, in case the adhesion fails.
Will you use numbing cream?
Yes, we can, although we would suggest talking to your artist beforehand to insure it is applied correctly.
How should I prepare for a consult?
Come with reference pictures, placement and size ideas! Being open and honest with your tattoo artist matters! You should also disclose if you are on any medications or struggle with any conditions.
How should I best prepare for my tattoo appointment?
Eat a good meal beforehand and bring water and something sugary! Snacks are always a plus too for those longer sessions.
